Analytics opt-out
PolySimulator runs a first-party reach measurement to count how many distinct people view each page over time. We use this to decide what to build and to debug broken pages. Under the CNIL / DSK / BfDI exemption framework, this measurement does not require consent because it:
- Stays first-party. Nothing is shared with Google, Meta, or any other third party.
- Does not link page views to your account, even when you are signed in.
- Stores no raw IP address — only your country (from Cloudflare's edge header).
- Stores no full User-Agent — only a coarse
browser/os/device-typetriple. - Rotates your visitor identifier at least every 13 months. Older raw events are deleted.
If you still prefer not to be counted, you can opt out below. The opt-out is stored in your browser only — it will need to be re-applied if you clear your browser storage or switch browsers.

For details about what data is collected and how long it is kept, see our Privacy Policy section on exempted first-party reach measurement. For other tracking technologies (advertising, embedded social media), the standard consent banner still applies.
